Hi guys, it's me again.
I was thinking about to buy alienware m17x r4 but my question is:
Will he run games like Crysis 3 and "Battlefield 4" using his own configuration, and with 7970m

Thanks.

We dont know, but probably on high.

Youl get a much better deal on a gaming laptop from other brands like ASUS

example:

m17x 2300$
-i7 @ 3.2ghz
-7970m
-8gb DDR3
-1tb HDD
-DVD
-2.5 hour battery life

ASUS RoG laptop- $1800
-i7 @ 3.6ghz
-GTX 685m
-16GB DDR3
-256gb SSD + 500GB HDD
-Blu-Ray
-5 hour battery life

This asus should probably have 675 not 685... I need a laptop which will run at ultra settings just can be around $2000... or a little bit more.
Just have to know which Laptop will run. I know it doesn't lauch yet but we can imagine if it will run

Also, if you're going to buy the M17x, then you need to make sure that you are buying it in a configuration that includes the upgraded 1920x1080 display. You generally should not buy the Alienware M17x in any configuration that includes the default 1600x900 display.

1600x900 resolution in a 17.3" display makes things onscreen large, and 17.3" displays that have 1600x900 resolution tend to be low-grade LCD panels with very poor image quality due to low contrast. You should make a point to avoid displays like this (15.6" 1366x768, 17.3" 1600x900, etc.) when it is reasonable to do so, unless you require the larger text for eyesight-related reasons.

This puts the cheapest recommendable configuration of the M17x at $1649, and then the GPU upgrades will add further cost onto that.

This is a 15" display by the way... but yeah, alienware is overpriced.
Can you guys convince me that I shouldn't buy an alienware because I like him A LOOOT, and I want him... Any benchmarks that proves another gaming pc cheaper than him is better? And, I'll have the possibility to play bf3 in ultra settings? And any future games possibly on ultra?

SSD is used for what? and this 670m is worse than 7970m... Well anyway, I don't know what I'm feeling but I don't think it's a good deal these laptops... I search the web and some sites said that m17x r4 is the best gaming laptop... Well... I'm thinking about getting this asus or maybe alienware... Actually I reaaaaally need a lot of help choosing a laptop because I'm so confused

No, the ASUS G75 with GTX 670m is not in the same league as the Alienware with 7970m. But Alienware is overprice charging so much for 7970m.

Clevo P150EM at xoticpc with a 7970m and i7-3630QM is only $1514.

Select $100 off, 7970m, 8GB 1333MHz RAM, Windows 8.

If you want to max out the $2000 you have:

Select $100 off, Crossfire 7970m, 8GB 1333MHz DDR3 and Windows 8 for $2014.
