about function key F8

hii guys my function key f8 which is normally for projector duplicate display is activeted . so whenever i open cmd or any tool it takes f8 as input please suggest me what can i do now? is that hardware problem or software.

Are you saying the F8 key is being constantly pushed down? Did you check the key? Remove it and reseat it? Probably a broken keyboard. Try unplugging the keyboard and using a USB one.
