Hello,
I want to know what is the highest resolution for cameras available now

On a hand held point and shoot camera, anything above 8-10 megapixels is useless, because any camera that advertises higher is simply enlarging the image digitally.

On a DSLR, it is now common to get up to 20 megapixel camera (full chip e.g. Canon 5D), but if you want to go higher than that, full frame digital backs such as Phase One, to fit medium format cameras, are the professional choice, and can shoot around 50 megapixel images, but with a price tag of around £30,000, they're not really in the retail market.
