Ac/dc adapter or battery pack?

Hello,
My Toshiba Satellite A105-S101 will begin to charge but then the yellow light goes out. Fiddling with the plug/adapter will sometimes get it to do a full charge, but it's getting worse. How do I know if its the battery pack or the ac/dc adapter?

In this notebook it will probably be in the board connector for PSU. It´s a very common problem, and any technician can fix it. It´s a broken solder.
