Accidentally Unplugged MX-780 remote from the Comcast Cable Box

I unplugged the thing that sticks onto all the consoles and when I stuck it back on it wasn't working. What should I do?

Have you tried power-cycling the cable box (ie turn off/turn on)?

I figured it out. When I had reattached the thing, I didn't stick if back on in the right place. You have to stick on the sensor.
