acer 7551 - 2961 won't come on please help asap

I was on my my cup went it went to black screen with nothing but the power light on so I held the powder button to shut it down wait a few mins then pressed the power button and the light on the button came on and you can hear the fan running but the hard drive light just barely flickered but doesn't run and I get nothing but black screen I have up graded to windows 10 but have had no problems with it until now

Hi,

Do a hard reset first, remove the battery and AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds. Put just the AC adapter back in the turn the laptop on again. If it loads just fine you can put the battery back in as well. If doesn't, try hooking up an external monitor and see if it display anything because if it does that means that your LCD display has gone bad already but you can still check the LCD cables inside the laptop if they are seated properly.
