Acer Aspire 5377Z-4851 no backlight

I was given an Aspire 5377Z-4851 to look at because the screen wasn't working. I unplugged and reseated the screen cable and the screen came on without a backlight. I was thinking it needed an inverter replacement but I don't see where this model has one. It's got me scratching my head. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
