Solved! Acer aspire 5534 pc monitor does not work

The power comes on,but thieris no display showing on moitor.

If you hold the screen near a lamp or shine a flashlight on the screen can you anything there?
If yes, the backlight tube of the LCD screen is not working.

If you hook an external monitor up to the laptop does it work with the laptop?
