Hey, guys!
I have an Acer Aspire V3-572G laptop running Windows 8.1. Recently, I've been using dxtory to record gameplay, and the problem I noticed was that my built-in webcam drivers are gone and replaced with dxtory output profiles. I uninstalled the utility, but it didn't help. I don't even see the camera in device manager. I highly doubt that the camera got disconnected since the laptop was not dropped nor did it the monitor (above which the camera is located) overheat. I tried to restore the system to a point where the camera worked OK, but it still didn't help
So, I am wondering if anyone can suggest me a fix for this problem, because I want to be able to use the built-in camera. Thanks in advance.
P.S. Here are the specs in case it helps:
CPU - Intel Core i7-4510U 2-core 2.0 GHz
RAM - 8GB DDR3 L
GPU - NVIDIA GeForce 840M 2GB
