Acer aspire E 15 Laptop overheated and wont turn on

my son kept watching movies on it in the bedroom and think its overheated, wont turn on black screen but i can hear the fan turning and the lights come on but thats it absolutley nothing on screen, helppp only 1 year old

Many laptop are built with a thermal shutdown safeguard that protects them from overheating !

Can you try removing removing the battery and holding down the power button for 1 minute.
