Solved! acer aspire es 15 won't charge after I tried changing ram

Hi

I tried changing ram yesterday and I ended up replacing the old one. Now my laptop won't charge. The computer switched on using the battery. it is now completely drained and power doesn't charge it.

Outside the battery not charging, does the system work on wall power? And before it stopped charging it did run off the battery correct? You should check the system and make sure no cables were disconnected when you opened it to change RAM. Did you happen to try the system on the old RAM? Really should not make a difference in charging but best to remove any variables.
