Acer Aspire One 725 vs. Acer Aspire One D270

Hi,

I'm helping to pick a netbook for my Dad to buy my Mum to use on the train when she's away working.

The two we like the look of are the Acer Aspire One 725 (http/www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-11-6-inch-Netbook-Integrated-Graphics/dp/B008MKNSUE) and the Acer Aspire One D270 (http/www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-Aspire-D270-10-1-Netbook/dp/B007NHP8YG)

Which would you recommend?

hi pan... i would recommend 725 following are the reasons

1. screen is 11.6 inches vs 10.1 in d270

2. resolution is 1366 x 768

3. usb 3.0

4. touch pad is advanced than that in d 270

5. dedicated graphic memory of 256 mb which is absent in d270

6. meets system requirements for installing windows 8 for which in d270 you need to hack into the registry.

7. price difference is not much

Thanks for the advise, but before I saw your reply my Dad went for the D270 (mostly because of the better battery life).
