Acer Aspire One zg5 (Netbook) No bootable device error

I have tries all possible steps after going through various forums, still unable to find a solution
Laptop comes with 8gb ssd and has no HDD
Some of the boot elements
Ide0
Ide1
USB FDD
USB HDD
Network boot

that 8gb ssd is your hard drive. do you have xp on the netbook?

Hi, you should have a HDD of 80GB, maybe it was removed, if your 8GB SSD is corrupt, maybe the SSD is the problem.

Yes also, but it should have a HDD in with the SSD.

don't think so as either 1 or the other because it is a netbook. my netbook I got from a customer who was dumpster diving for computers came with a dead 40gig ssd drive i replaced with a 160gig sata drive. another netbook I got from another customer who accidently cracked the lcd screen came with a 10gig 1.5 to 1.8" drive that uses a totally different interface. both came with xp & the 1st netbook cannot have it's ram upgraded as part of motherboard.
