I recently encountered a problem with my laptop Acer aspire v3-112p.. It keeps freezing every time I try to connect to WiFi, or even when I'm trying to install some software especially updates. It becomes completely unresponsive and the only solution is to force a reboot with the power button. Please help

Hi,

This issue might be caused by your HDD failing, Operating System needs reinstalling and lastly it may be overheating.
- Start by running a test with your HDD and see if it's still healthy or not.
- Next is to do run a virus/malware scan. Please do follow this link bellow for tools and guide.
- Lastly, I would suggest doing a clean install of Windows and if that would still cause it to freeze or lock up that means it's a hardware issue.

Im sorry but i dont have an answer, bit teh same problem. Its not because of the hdd. Every time i put it in my pc, it would work with out any crashes or freezes. Even on linux its not working right. Its sad that the laptop cant even run on a re-installed windows version, so i guess that this is the answer :it cant run on a re-installed windows version.

OMG I FOUND IT!!! Alright: 1. Go to google an serch 4 acer driver (https://www.acer.com/ac/de/DE/content/drivers) and serxh for ur device. Go to bios and download the version 1.16 or 1.7 (its basicly the same) and install it (if u have the same problem like me (it was freezing every time i was shuting it down) just run the programm imediatly after starting the laptop up). That fixed it for me. I now can install the wifi driver and vm ware XD
