Hello everybody!

Here is the problem i've got with laptop. Shortly after computer is turned on i get this (please see image). Sometimes it boots all the way and then starts flickering like that, sometimes it does it during boot. Anyone have idea what is wrong with it and what need to be done to fix it?

Solution
Not 100% sure given the severity of the 'flickering' in your image.

Options:

1. Could be a virus, but unlikely. (Although worth noting)
2. Lower the refresh rate of your display (Desktop > Right click > Properties (if you have a graphics card, you'll need to go to it's properties via control panel > Settings > Advanced > Display/Monitor )
3. Update your graphics driver (via the vendors website, do it manually).

If none of the above works, you might have a hardware defect.

Solution
Hmm i dont think it is software\driver related issue. But i will try. Also not sure how would i do it if i cant see anything on the screen. I did reinstall the system though.

Maybe try connecting to an external display first (HDMI, VGA etc).

If that works fine, yet the laptop is still flickering, you likely have a hardware issue.

Just a quick update. I do strongly belie it was graphics card malfunction. Finally i replaced motherboard and it worked like a charm.
