Acer audio and sound not working ....help please

About a month ago my sound/ audio stopped working on my Acer Aspire 7741g. Then all three of my USB ports also stopped working. It feeds power to my IPad,IPhone and external speaker but does not recognise the hardware. Tried everything I can think of ....drivers are up to date. I have done a restore and tried disable re-enable but nothing has worked. Any ideas please??????

Sounds like some kind of hardware failure going on. I would run diagnostics on everything, just to rule it out if it's not the hardware that is the issue.
