Hello, guys,

Yesterday I got the following problem - my laptop was in a power-saver mode, AC line connected; I disconnected the line, closed the lid and moved it from the desk; with no AC power supply opened the lid; the laptop was active (there was a slight warm gust from the ventilator grid) but the screen remained blank and the keyboard irresponsible. Pressing the power button did not work. Pressing the Ctrl+Alt+Del combo twice did not work. Connecting it to the power supply did not work with moving the mouse or pressing buttons again. Using strong language did not work either ;-).

If it was my older machine I should have removed the battery with power supply off, but I am not a screw-driver enthusiast and this machine is only 6 months old, so I am looking for a solution that does not involve disassembling and possible void guarantee. I am also not looking forward to a trip to the support shop, so if there is a DIY way, I shall welcome all advice.

Thank you in advance!
