Acer Laptop 5742

I have a Acer Laptop 5742, my daughter reseted the laptop and it won't start up I think she deleted my windows I'm not sure, but I have windows on a usb, please help

What do you mean by, it won't start up? Do you mean it doesn't turn on, or that it doesn't boot into Windows?

If it doesn't POST, that's a whole different ballgame than if it just doesn't boot to Windows.

If booting to Windows is the issue, what is your Windows version?
