Acer Laptop ES1-511 no image only backlight on screen

hello everyone,

i have a laptop acer which doesnt display any image on the laptop lcd,i have treid another lcd but still no display buit when i plug it with an hdmi it works i get display on my tv

can someone tell me what can cause this problem?

Hi, if you just have the backlight on your screen, then the screen will be white. If you do not see anything on the laptop screen and it is black, the backlight does not work. What do you have on the laptop screen?

the screen gets baclight because the screen lights up but i get no image i mean no display at all no acer icon no windows icon just light on the screen

but when you plug it on hdmi all image appears on tv or monitor but on laptop screen onlt background light

The problem could be the L4 inductor which is defective, it depends on your skills if you can repair this defective component yourself.

where is it situated on board?

Just next to the LCD connector, it is connected to the 1,2,3 pins of the connector.

i have seen the L4 capacitor and it seems to be damaged so i tried to reworked it but i doesnt work it is still not good...

what should i do now?

L4 is not a capacitor, the L is for an inductor, it should read zero on the ohm scale. To find out if this is the problem, short L4 for a brief moment, the backlight should be on when you short L4.
