Solved! Acer or Gateway netbook

Hello,
I am interested in purchasing a netbook for school. I need help on deciding which is better between Acer and Gateway. The Acer is $299(1GB ram 250 hard drive up to 10 hours battery life. The Gateway is $269 (1GB ram 250 hard drive up to 8 hours battery life). Need help deciding on the better brand.

If it were I choosing between the 2, I'd probably go with the Acer. I haven't really heard any complaints about the their netbooks, hence they seem to be of quality, at least in the short term. Plus, you're getting 2 more hours of battery life.

Thank you. I was leaning towards Acer but didnt know if 2 extra hours of battery life was worth 30 bucks when comparing to Gateway.

Both the same CPU as well?? Screen size?
My friend has a Asus EEE w/e netbooks, performs fairly nicely, with the n450 in it battery lasts a long long time as well
