Solved! Acer screen goes black every few seconds

Hi!
The screen on my Acer (windows 8) goes black every few seconds, after googling the only suggestions I found was to change the power plan to balanced and turn off display set to 'never', which was a real struggle because the screen goes black so fast that I need to channel The Flash to be fast enough to click on anything.

Are you sure that the display isn't loose? If the cable that connects it is loose inside, that can easily cause this.
