Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong section!

I have just started using Acronis True Image 2018, and want to ensure that I've configured it properly. What I want it to do is backup delete actions also, so if I delete 'file 1' on the local drive, I want 'file 1' to be deleted on the backup drive when it next runs, rather than sitting there using space.

This is the backup configuration. I'm guessing I may have this set wrong??

Hopefully I'm just overlooking something here. What are your thoughts?

Thanks!

"Mirrored backups".

However, there are risks involved so my suggestion is to take a closer look at your backup situation and requirements.

Disk storage is not all that expensive any more and allowing files to "sit" until you make a conscious decision to permanently delete those files may be a more suitable solution.

With respect to Acronis per se, check their forums and FAQs:

https://forum.acronis.com/forum/acronis-true-image-2017-forum/deleting-files-directories-backups

Deletion may be being handled already. I.e., a full backup will delete the "deleted" files.

Just a matter of your requirements and executing backup methodologies to match your requirements.

Look at the backup options available with respect to your requirements. Keep control in your hands.

Details matter.
