Hello. I had a laptop which casing went broke which I had to remove the LCD and use a monitor to use it. But the LCD is still working. The cables that used to connect the LCD to the laptop (Not HDMI Cable) is broken. I was wondering if there is any possible way to use the LCD as an HDMI. The LCD Slot is noticeably smaller than HDMI. Or any item that connects from the LCD slot to an HDMI slot. I have tried googling but they don't give me what I am looking for. Thanks.

I want to connect it to my new laptop, which has an HDMI slot to have dual screens. So I'm looking for a way to connect it to my new laptop.

Hmm what "replacement" do I need to buy? I also have an VGA adapter Port. The connectors are from Toshiba. So is it possible to have a port connecting to the old laptop LCD while the other end uses an HDMI/VGA?

But like I said, I wanted to know if I could connect the old one's LCD to my new one (It is also Toshiba) so why would I need to buy a new one. But damn I guess it's pretty useless now unless I can get some parts off an old laptop?
