Solved! add USB 3.0 to old pc

I am going to get a windows mixed reality headset for Christmas. My PC is a low profile dell optiplex 990, with no USB 3.0, and no spare pci-e bracket (my 1050 ti takes up two brackets) Is there any way I could add a USB 3.0? for wmr it is compulsory.

Assuming you have the Small Form Factor version of the system, the only way I can see of doing this would be to remove your optical drive and let the add-on card lay there. You would also need to use a riser cable to connect the card to the PCI-Ex16 (x4) expansion slot covered by the cooling shroud of the GTX 1050Ti.
