I wanted to know if I can add a discrete graphics card to my HP probook 4320s. The chipset is
Mobile Intel HM57 Express Chipset and the processor is intel i5 M480 (with integrated intel HD graphics) Thanks

Most laptops do not allow you to upgrade the graphics cards. Those few that do (probably at most 2%) are gaming laptops that typically cost over $1,500. (most likely more).

In your case, it is impossible.

Gaming laptop with upgradable gpu uses mxm connection. The mini pcie connection on laptop is not used for gpu (no one makes them probably due to the x1 bandwidth limitation). Your gpu is directly soldered on the mobo if it is not mxm because it is easier on design to save space.

Yes, if you want better graphics, you need a new laptop. If you want upgradable graphics, you need a gaming laptop with mxm factor graphics card, because a gaming laptop can have soldered on gpu. You have to find out which one is mxm.
