So this morning I was tinkering with the BIOS Serttings in my ancient Alienware mx15 trying to squeeze any bit of performance I could out of the ole dog. Enough play newer games such as Squad or Arma 3. However after adjusting BIOS settings and attempting to reboot my laptops keys light up and the fan runs for 5seconds but the screen remains completely dark and fails to even get back to the screen where I can push f2 to get back on the BIOS.
PLEASE SOMEONE HELPPP.
Thanks

Solution
Remove battery, unplug system, open it up , remove the CMOS battery from the motherboard for about 10 seconds, try again.

There is pretty much 0 things you can adjust anywhere to get better performance out of the system aside from lowering game settings and resolution.
