Advice me on how to make USB ports work

My laptop no longer uses USB devices. The moment you input in any device nothing is shown.All drivers are updated and there is nothing like a yellow symptom on them. How can i recover them? Could it be a hardware problem or software problem?

Try checking the bios to be sure usb is enabled. I assume the yellow reference is to device manager not showing any errors. Be sure to open the show hidden devices in the view tab to check those.
