Hello. I'm buying laptop on budget and would like to get advice from community. I found this laptop at really low price ( ~500 euros), and would like to know will it be able to suit my needs. I'll be using latest visual studio along with wampp and other tools I might need for developing, but will also be playing games (world of warcraft and league of legends mostly). I also have another laptop that will be connected 24/7 to laptop via VGA (resolution 1366 x 768). Laptop spec:
CPU brand: AMD
CPU type: AMD Quad-Core
CPU model: A10-5757M
CPU speed: (GHz): 2.1
RAM (GB): 12
HDD : 1 TB
VGA: AMD
VGA model: HD 8650G
VGA memory (GB): shared
Rezolucija ekrana: 1366x768

I'm also concerted and interested about this shared VGA memory. Will that reduce my gaming performace, and can I assing some GBs only to graphic card ? Thanks in advance :)

Hey!

If you're looking to purchase a laptop on a budget, especially a gaming one, the AMD CPU's (such as the A10's) are perfect for your needs.

Programming should be fine with this processor, the only concern would be gaming, which would run decently on low-medium settings for LoL and WoW.

I've played LoL on an integrated GPU (Intel HD 3000) and I still get 60 FPS on low/medium settings.

Let me know if you have any questions! :)

Generally, Intel-Based CPU's are better for gaming/processing performance, but the budget range is much higher compared to AMD's. AMD laptops are perfectly fine for basic needs and casual gaming.
The A series CPUs are not that great of CPUs, the improved gaming performance of the gpu comes at the price of reduced CPU performance. Coding/developing is not as demanding as say 3d modeling or math sims but the a10 is still going to be noticably slower.

I am assuming you are looking at this laptop beause the $800-1000 laptops are out of the question for you. You bassiclaly have one of thee options: increase budget, get better cpu but with limited or no gaming ability, get this cpu that will play games on medium but will not perform as well as i5 or even i3 in your programming tasks.
