what is the "aux" temp on aida 64 extreme ?
I have an amd a8 6600k , a msi a88xm e-35 and an asus r7 250x 1gb.

until now they said this :
"Hi,

There is no standard for sensor registers layout, so the "Aux" temperature could show the temperature of the CPU or the motherboard, or might be a non-connected wire of the sensor chip, and so it could show a bogus value.

It usually represents an unknown sensor value (valid or bogus) which is visible because AIDA64 doesn't fully supports your motherboard.

In order to help us investigating this problem please create some dumps by right clicking on the status bar (bottom part) of AIDA64 window then select the following options
- Sensor Debug / SMBus Dump (full)
- Sensor Debug / ISA Sensor Dump
Please save and attach the results in your reply."

but my MB app of hardware reading temps marks the same temps as AIDA . But "aux" temp is always a bit lower or higher than cpu

But if the all others temps are correct the aux readings are not really important , right ?

well either way is really close to cpu temps , only reaches to 70 º on 100% ....

Hi,
Unfortunately there is so much variations of the MSI 7721/7793 that we cannot find an accurate way to handle this sensor value. It is possible that on your motherboard it is showing a real temperature of some part of the motherboard but we don't know exactly what is measured by it. If it acts weird or showing a fixed value then just ignore it.
