That said, I understand the interpretation. Although it has a CPU, the CPU isn't a traditional CPU. And obviously, the flash memory is not a spinning hard disk.
Modern, high performance CPU's are often pretty big and beefy and show up like a christmas light bulb in an X-Ray. So does the metal-cased HDD. Without those, the X-Ray is less cluttered with an iPad, to the point where it's not going to really obscure other stuff in the bag.
