Alba popping screen

Hi guys, my sister's screen on her Alba tablet was popping off as if something has pushed it up. My dad reckons it is the charge slot from what he can see. She claimed that she tried to push it back together and the screen cracked as a result. We don't if she is rising the story but, my dad thinks it was dropped whilst charging. Does anyone have any other idea?

To be honest, I don't think it would matter in that regard how it got broken, just that it is. The only fix is to replace the display.
