Alba won't factory reset

Hi my son bought an alba tablet today and my wife set it up she opt for the Google family link app and then my son was unable to watch or do anything really. So we deleted the app and went to factory reset which is in Chinese and we followed the instructions we got online. but every time we press factory reset it says unable to reset try again ...does anyone know why so so annoying thanks james
