Alienware r17 r2 Battery Driver Problem Help Please

Hello My Name is Bandit and i have been having a ongoing problem with my alienware r17 r2 notebook. i have had this for a little under a year now and i have managed to fix all but one problem with my pc and that is the battery for some reason my pc will decide that its not charging every couple of months and wont detect that my charger is plugged in i have been able to fix this temporarly by uninstalling the Microsoft ACPI battery adapter driver and restarting my pc multiple time till it decides to work again but then after a couple of months it breaks again if anybody can help me with this thank you also i run windows 8.1

Hi, maybe the problem is the DC jack, try moving the plug slowly sideways in the jack to see if the jack has a bad connection.

No the jack seems to be perfectly fine from what i can tell it has to do with the microsoft ACPI battery driver braking or corrupiting every time thus i need to uninstall and reinstall multiple times
