Question Alta HR does not stay connected to Windows 10

I have an Alta HR, but when syncing, it only temporarily connects to sync then disconnects. This is very annoying to me because I want it to be connected all the time so PC notifications can be forwarded to the fitbit. How do I do this?

Have you tried syncing with something else like a smartphone? Intent is to isolate whether the device is the issue or the Win 10 PC is (and its BT adapter).

With an iPad, it's fine.

Again, with an iPad, no issue. I am using the built-in BT module on my HP Laptop 15t-dy100.

Yes, my headphones stay connected (until I disconnect them).

A quick scan of the Fitbit support forums indicates yours is a fairly common issue. Other than a series of restarts, reconnects, etc, I don't see any definitive responses to resolve your matter.

I also saw your other questions there (you have asked the same questions here (TG and TH). I really suggest asking there for assistance with folks more familiar with the devices.

Of note, I noticed you posted the same number sequence (in your other thread) here and there. Do those numbers remain on the display at all times?

@COLGeek No. If tapped it will show stats, so it's not frozen. EVen with what clock face it can connect to my iPad normally.
