I would SOOO be on this like you can't believe I have a tegra 3 transformer with the dock that i use for some light paper work ,videos, on the go gaming stuff like that. I take it to work some times but i worry about losing it or getting it stolen allot. At $150 to use this as a e-reader and some light gametic on the train and stuff I would feel like its much more disposable *not that $150 is not a good chunk of change but I would be much more likely to risk it over the $450+ tablet.

If they pushed this on to existing Kindles I think they could kiss a ton of customers goodbye. I know personally if they pushed that on to my kindle I expect a refund. I didnt buy a ad supported product nor would I have bought a ad supported Kindle Fire.

If they make a cheaper model and have ads on it (like the regular Kindle), I'm fine with it. If they do that to the $200 ones and perhaps even do it to the existing ones, they'll get a LOT of pissed customers. Terrible idea...

If they do that to the existing users, people will be pretty pissed, that's for sure. And if they do that to the $200 one too, well, why get the Fire over something like the Galaxy Tab 2 7"?
