Hi there just wondering which of the two would be the better choice for casual gaming.

Hi there thanks for taking the time to check those for me, much appreciated.

It seems the 940m is the way to go but i was unsure about the CPU's due to the A10 being newer & quad core & not knowing a much of the i5-6200U

If the 6200 is better ( i find conflicting results) then its a win win.

Actually scrap that last part. I was looking at an older a10 (not the 9600p) so, upon reflection & in an ideal world i'd have the A10 chip with the 940m GPU
