I know they say hackers are bad but considering so many companies have been hacked so far it seems to me that "AntiSec" is needed in the community as long as they don't go to far...

GEOHOT.: "The fault lies with the executives who declared a war on hackers, laughed at the idea of people penetrating the fortress that once was Sony, whined incessantly about piracy, and kept hiring more lawyers when they really needed to hire good security experts."

p.s. Please replace "Sony" with "Apple"

The only true secure network is one that is physically separated. Something that the US Military practices and is stupidly expensive to do. Anything else is just a compromise between usability and security.

I initially approved of Anonymous. Their online activism was an inspiration.

However, without an established code of ethics, they have devolved. They are now being used by corporations attacking each other or disgruntled employees having petty revenge.

Anonymous needs some moral fags stat.

Amusingly enough there are several exploits which can work around an 'air bridge' (physical separation of networks). So although they are indeed a strong measure, they're not foolproof either.

I think I might have to disagree with you. It's not that expensive to physically serarate a network, in fact it's cheaper!!! you dont have to pay an ISP!

i say they should keep up the good work. Apple is known share customer information freely with other organizations, and demonstrate poor dedication to client security. They deserve to be taught a lesson.

Or just use sneaker net armed with a 50AE.

Some might say, don't forget to include the people who rape and pillage on a regular basis, extorting money out the Federal Reserve System and sinking an entire continent even deeper than it's knees in debt. The same interests who run the media, who start wars but prefer not to finish them in case the profits dry up, and the same interests who are selling our freedoms to private interests whilst claiming to look after our interests, and turning a blind eye to what's happening on the border because again..there's less power and influence to be found in peace. These hackers are nothing compared to this cabal, and don't be surprised if some of these hackers even come from udner the same rock.

[citation][nom]AppleBeDarned[/nom]woohoo, go get 'em! ::makes popcorn::[/citation] Are you an idiot. A criminal can break in your house anytime they want too as long as they have the tools to do so (prove me wrong, you can't). Same thing with computer networks. They can't be 100% "bullet proof". These "cyber criminals" will come up with new ways to break in networks. These freaking hackers just piss me off to no end!! They need something productive to do instead of living in their parents basement hacking companies.

Actually they are secure. The thing about a seperated network, is its seperated. There are no exploits which will let you connect to a network that you do not have have physical access to, and is not connected to any other network. Thats like saying "using just my car, I can drive to the moon." Until somone makes a road there, your just SOL.
