any ideas for a decent PC audio setup?

Hey guys,
I am planning on getting a speaker system for my PC but not sure what I should get.
I was first looking into the Logitech Z906 PC 5.1 system but then started to think that maybe a receiver with decent speakers would be better? I dont want to go over $1000 CAD.
I can get the z906 for $380 CAD right now.

I am mostly going to be using it for Movies and Games.

Any thoughts? If anyone is wondering I have the EVGA GTX 760 card

I was also looking into the Energy Take Classic 5.1.
Anyone used the z906 or Energy Take Classic 5.1?

I think that a surround receiver and the Energy speaker will be enough better than the Logitech to make it worth your while. You can upgrade the kind of system later without having to do it all at once.
