Without more information, this is difficult. Is red missing from all sources? Does it appear in the on-screen menus? Have you checked the tint setting? Have you checked for loose component video connections on either end?

BEWARE OF HIGH VOLTAGE.... As far as internals: with the back cover off, do you see light coming from the red gun? At the base of the red tube, is there a heater light glowing?

If you remove the front cover, can you find the focus block (box with six knobs)? If you whack it with a screwdriver, does the output change? If you dial up the Red screen control, does it make a difference?

Need some specifics for a more complete diagnosis.
