[citation][nom]dogman_1234[/nom]I can understand having an app to teach people that homosexuality is wrong, but not 'cure' it.[/citation]No, it is not wrong, it is a natural thing occuring at a certain rate in about all animals from birds to mammals. What kind of authority you think you are to proclaim something "wrong"?

Well, if this is OK, then cancer and diabetes are OK too! Happy cancer to you! 😉 And don't try to cure it! It's perfectly normal occurring thing in nature!

[citation][nom]dogman_1234[/nom]As a Christian, this is grey in the head for me. I can understand having an app to teach people that homosexuality is wrong, but not 'cure' it.My opinion is my faith, do not criticize me.This is not a Christ-like thing...telling people they need to be 'cured' of their sins.[/citation]
People don't choose to be gay, they just are.

You chose to be a christian, that's you're choice, and I can criticize that.

[citation][nom]dogman_1234[/nom]You have taken what I said out of context:Jesus loves all. He loves the person for who is created, not what they do.[/citation]
If I've misread your viewpoint, I'm sorry. It looked to me like you were saying that teaching people that homosexuality is wrong is okay, but trying to cure it was not. I consider both positions to be personal issues, not spiritual ones, and most likely not developed from any logical thought process. I can't speak for you or the 'cure' group, but I know I have no sexual interest in other men, it's not a choice I have to make...it's just the way I am. So, when homosexuals say that it's not a choice, I tend to believe them over people who's only evidence seems to be a Bible passage. So, if it's not a choice I cannot understand a need to denounce or cure it.

IMO this is all stupid, both parts.

As long as the app is not forced down the throat of people, let them put their effort in providing the choice to get the app, or not. There is nothing wrong with choice. I am all in favour of choice. Choice to see what I please on my phone, choice to love who I want to love and to depend on each others gender for attraction or not. All choice.

If your opinion can't be subject to discussion, because is "your faith", then keep it on the church, and don't preach us.

[citation][nom]martel80[/nom]What about inventing a "cure" app for men who were turned into sheep by the poison-of-mind called a "religion"?[/citation]

Amen!

Wow, there's a lot of anger on these comments. Everyone please calm down, we're all human beings at the end of the day.

It's good this was pulled, as the change group said, it could negatively affect many young people struggling with the issue of sexuality.

By the way, I'm a Christian. As far as i can tell, it's our job to love people unconditionally, not condemn them or tell them what they are by their nature is wrong.

[citation][nom]dogman_1234[/nom]^ sorry to say but:God did make man in his image, he did not make him to do his actions. What man does is different that what man is made.Principles of free will.[/citation]
It's clearly false, since the man is not made of noodles and tomato sauce, like Holy Spaghetti Monster.

I've said it many times, and I'll say it once more; Religion is the cause of more offense, hurt and bloodshed than all of history's bloodiest political wars combined.

Having faith is wrong. Do not criticize my rationality. Religion is what made this world so messed up.

"If rational arguments work with religious people.. There would be no religion"

Fantastic quote.

Another is
"To say that something must be accepted by faith, is to admit that there is no evidence to support the claim" (paraphrased)

who did i quote? (hopes its someone super awesome)

Oh wow why do people do such things? Religious people make me laugh.

On the religion debate, here's a few things:
If your God made man in his image, surely your God is not as powerful as you think he is or he has one hell of a sense of humour considering man is so varied. Is he schizophrenic? Also, from my knowledge of such things, why does everyone think it is a he? Surely that's sexist? Or is it trans-gender? Does it even have a gender? Surely if it didn't, then man wouldn't if it's made in its image? But surely if it's only one gender, how was the other one made if it's made in his image? Surely that means your God is double gender? Another thing, if your religion is right, disprove other religions and/or prove that your religion exists. Why is your religion right and others wrong? Surely other religions would say exactly the same thing as you and defend it saying it's right just as you do? It's all faith/belief? Well that isn't a good enough answer. That's just convenient. I believe being homosexual is fine. Disprove it. Oh it's a matter of opinion? Tough luck.

This is the new gay argument.... "We're born this way!"

I completely agree, you are born sick, with malfunctioning genes, subnormal behavior and bad taste. And many need help. Well maybe not you, you feel normal blowing a guy or taking a sausage up the ass.

And on the other side we have the religious people (usually with an IQ below 90 and limited education) who think their god can cure your bad DNA or bad genes, your rotten liver or retinas, through the power of well... divine touch (only works on the naked tits, ass and legs).

But after work they sure watch porn, download Zeitgeist, drink alcohol and pay for a blowjob. Oh wait they don't have to pay.... they have kids for that.

A battle of the small, simple minds, for popularity / profit / cash.
Makes me sick...

Well of course they had a "gay cure" app available. I mean, the hardest part of owning an Iphone is admitting you're gay, right? :)

LOL for real, I can't believe it made it through the Nazi-like Apple censors, who knows why they do these things.

To disagree with homosexuality, is equally as ridiculous as "disagreeing" with someone's eye colour, or height, or gender - it's something that is inherently natural and it goes against natural order for your faith to say that some superstitious force compels you to disagree with it. You may not understand it, granted, but that's only because you have chosen to disregard it as something wrong, but if that is the case, then are you also willing to accept that God makes mistakes? I didn't think so...
