ascer laptop audio problems.

Hi, my dad just got me new acer Windows laptop and i'm still getting used to it. My main problem with it is when I have my headphones plugged in, I hear slight static and beeping, and when I watch videos the sound is slightly glitchy. I think it has something to do with the port, it says SPDIF. I don't know if I need a different headset or a extra plug or if that's even the problem.

When I tried to download the reatlek drivers it said, no driver was supported in this driver package, then it closed and canceled the download.

Hi, sorry I reposted your comment. I think its Aspire 1410 1410-2762, but its hard to tell, this thing has a lot of labels.

What version of Windows are you running, and is it 32-bit or 64-bit?
