Hello,
My Panzer television will not turn on with the remote or the function button located on the side of the unit. I have tried rebooting the unit by switching off at the mains power and have checked all the leads, plugs and connections. It is showing a red standby light but when you push the button to turn the unit "On", nothing happens. Please help, it must be something simple

Not sure what you mean "simple" or why it "must" be that.

Could be the power supply, or capacitors on the unit, or the system board. You should be able to find parts for it on ebay to swap out.
