Brand new Acer Aspire one A0751H running vista basic. Useing a new Asus dvd writer, I tried to create recovery disc(s). I can create 1st DVD no problem. I write 3.390gb, to first disc, I install 2nd DVD and Acer refuses disc. I tried several more DVDs with same results. I tried CDs, and was able to create 2nd and 3rd recovery discs, however Acer refuses to create any more. 2nd. and 3rd CDs write 594, and 588 mb. Acer recovery shows I need 5.64 gb. total for recovery. So I am a little short for recovery. The drivers and apps. write to 2 cds with no problem. Has anybody else experienced this problem. I would prefer to run XP, but would like to backup vista just in case. Thanks

Would it be possible to put the back up on an external USB drive?
