Aspire e17 won't start

My laptop won't start. I can't find the battery to remove it. Unplugging the cord and holding the on button only makes the orange light flash. Please help

Go online watch and read.

Hopefully you will be able to remove the battery thereafter or have some other ideas or options with respect to what you might do.
