Asus display cable

I just bought an Asus GL551v open boxfor my girlfriend for Christmas. The problem was the display would flicker. I had my buddy open it up and take a look, the issue is the cable. My question is does anyone know where to find a replacement for this or do I just need to hassle with the return process?

the cable will have a part number on it

get the part number and try ebay or google the part number

I can't seem to find it on eBay, It might be too new to be on there. And on Google I can't seem to get specific enough results.

yes it might be too new for ebay but the part number should turn up something on google if its the right number you are reading
