Hi I just want to ask which one should I get between Asus G51 and HP HDX16
both have the same price in bestbuy. I'm leaning over to Asus G51 but it's quite confusing.

Go with the ASUS. I have one and it is flawless. The difference in the processor you are not going to see. The faster Hard Drive in the ASUS and the better graphics you certainly will.

I do graphic design and 3d I usually use Photoshop, Illustrator, fireworks, After effects Cs4 and maya gaming is second priority. Would the Asus be the best choice?

Thank you for your reply :ange:

I should say so. Like I said with the processor you will not see a difference in the two. The HDD is the key to the ASUS for access speed. It has a 7200 RPM drive instead of the 5400 HP version. Which means you more than likely have a 8mb buffer on the HDD also. That is what I have. Really a night and day difference in handling data and graphics really. The HDD access speed cannot be beat. :bounce:
