Asus G750/G751 Laptop Types/Size difference in between model vents and thickness

I recently noticed that some G750/G751's have size differences in between models. Some are thicker than others and have larger vents and fans. My G750JS specificly has the smaller vents and heatsink along with it which is why I'm getting much higher temps than reviewers. Some reviewers have thicker ones and some have the thinner ones.Does anyone know why. Thanks

hello there the g750 is a older model of asus gaming laptop and the g751 is the new 2015 edition so per the obvious the g751 is going to have better fans and better vents plus newer design elements to improve air flow and heat dissapation which probably accounts for the size and thickness difference now the g750jm and g750js and g750jy have the same laptop body just different hardware inside sames as with the g751 hope this helps

No with the G750's ther are multiple models and those models have two different sizes. Same with the G751. The G751 and the G750 both have thinner models and thicker ones but its not listed in specs or on the boxes. So it it just by chance that i got a thinner one instead? im still wondering why there are two different sizes in both geneartions.

For instance, my G750JS is thinner than my friends G750 JS - His is thicker and has the bigger fans and heat sink and we both got the laptops within the same week

hmm i have never heard of such a thing that is very strange i would contact asus directly then and ask them because if you and your friend have the same model then it should be the same size and everything else good luck to ya
