Hello,

I have an Asus k52f bin

My screen model number is B156xw02 V.6

1. Is the screen a 30 pin or 40 pin?
2. And how can a beginner DIYer tell the difference?

I can't tell you which yours is off hand. I can however, tell you that the 30 and the 40 are completely different sizes. So it is kind of obvious.

If you do a quick search for both kinds (in images) online, I am sure it will be much easier for you to see the difference.

I have the same screen on my laptop and once ordered the wrong replacement screen.

I counted the pins and found out that it has 40 pin.
