My Asus X555l laptop is facing disk booting issue for quite a while, sometimes whenever I boot up my device it shows the following message - " Reboot or select proper boot device", so I check the BIOS and it doesn't show my hard disk in "boot option" or in short my laptop cannot detect any hard disk.

So I am left with 2 options-
1.) Continuously restart my laptop until it boots up as it should.
2.) Beat the laptop's base gently which is the last thing I do.

I don't know where lies the problem, but the good thing is that the device is still under warranty.
So should I go to the retailer for repair/exchange or is there any other general fix that you guys can help me out with and save me the trouble to go there?

You hard drive, or drive interface in your laptop, is dying. Make a backup ASAP on your important data, and arrange for service.
