Hello all, My time is coming down to picking a new laptop to buy and I was looking at two laptops, I'll be doing gaming and also some school work(Programming)

The two laptops:

Asus: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834232602

Comes with a IPS Display and G-sync and a 256 gb ssd. ($1480)

OR

MSI:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152817

Comes with a TN Panel, 128gb ssd, and Broadwell i7.($1280)

Which would be the better pick? Any opinions on either of them or personal experience? Is the asus worth the more money?

The asus one is heavier, worse cpu but more SSD storage. If your planning on carrying your laptop around hands down its the GE72. The Asus laptop however does have G-Sync which if your going to be gaming on high settings on new titles then G-Sync will make gaming feel so much smoother when your frame rate is lower than 60.

MSI. Never get ASUS anything. Their CS is dreadful, they don't honor their warranties, RMA takes months. Yeah, first hand experience three years ago on a motherboard and $1000 laptop. MSI has better hardware.
